Position Description:

This position requires a DoD SECRET clearance; US Citizenship is required.

Position Summary:

Because of the nature of the support required by Navy, it is highly desirable for the long term success of the requirement and to the continuity of operations that the business analyst representative have related operational experience, and 5 or more years Navy or equivalent experience working with or in development of the following:

  • Navy deployment and / or training scheduling

  • Navy Operational Readiness

  • Naval Aviation Training, Readiness

  • Naval Aviation Training Program development and implementation

  • Joint and Service Planning and Operational Concepts

  • Mission Capability Package (MCP)s, Operations Plans (OPLANS), Contingency Plans (CONPLANS),

DoD-approved Scenarios and Joint Combat Operations

  • Training Requirements and Objectives

  • Navy Undergraduate Flight Training concepts and processes

  • Modeling and Simulation

  • Instructional Design

  • Strategy and Risk Assessment

  • Joint Planning Guidance

  • National Security Strategy and National Military Strategy

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

The Information Assurance Specialist will coordinate and execute the submission of Certification and Accreditation packages via the Risk Management Framework in order to obtain network ATOs and update Department of Defense Information Technology Portfolio Repository – Department of the Navy (DITPR DON). They will make all required updates/submissions in the Navy Data Environment website.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Responsible for preparing all documentation required for afloat network installations including initiating Ship Change Documents (SCD) and meeting all requirements of the pertinent Regional Maintenance and Modernization Coordination Office (RMMCO).

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of experience in the field or related area.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Must be able to manage multiple programs and timelines in order to obtain ATOs in timely fashion.

  • Experience with creating Certification and Accreditation Packages via DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and/or RMF.

  • Expertise in Afloat installation processes, including SCD and RMMCO requirements
