Joint and Service Planning and Operational Concepts
Mission Capability Package (MCP)s, Operations Plans (OPLANS), Contingency Plans (CONPLANS),
DoD-approved Scenarios and Joint Combat Operations
Training Requirements and Objectives
Navy Undergraduate Flight Training concepts and processes
Modeling and Simulation
Strategy and Risk Assessment
Joint Planning Guidance
National Security Strategy and National Military Strategy
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires initiating and establishing processes for the management of product requirements throughout their life-cycle, from strategic definition to end-of-life planning. The Program Manager must ensure that the product vision is met through the requirements and the acceptance tests developed to validate the product. The Program Manager must show that the product aligns with the organizations strategic planning and fits the market segment(s) intended in the original vision statement. The Program Manager insures that the project business case is realized.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
The PM will work with customers and users at CNAF, CNATRA and NAVAIR as the aviation product expert, and capture requirements in sufficient detail to clearly convey them to the projects Business/Product Architectural Expert. The PM will act as a liaison between CNAF and the NTIMS / DRRS-N project, and must possess the ability to brief senior Government leaders on SHARP/ T SHARP/ CV SHARP / ADW functionality and development status. They must maintain a current, in-depth familiarity with FFC and CNO personnel, position, and organization systems and processes.
8-10 years of experience in the field or related area. Typically manages the companys largest and most complex product requirements.
Master of Business Administration or Master degree in Information Systems Management or Computer Science degree or experience through an organizational position managing a project similar in scope to the SHARP Enterprise, supported by a Bachelors degree in an IT-related field, systems management, engineering, mathematics or scientific-related field or in business administration.
Solid background in, and understanding of, CNAF operations and Navy readiness reporting systems. Navy Flag Staff experience preferred. Knowledge of development lifecycle, databases and SQL preferred.
