The Canada Maritime Helicopter Project (CMHP) is seeking a highly motivated individual to be part of the Configuration Management team supporting the Training System portion of the In-Service Support (ISS) program.The Configuration Management analyst will be responsible to review, organize and transfer product definition documents and data from the point-of-origin system to the customers Configuration Management and Life Cycle Support business systems. He/she will interface with the Engineering and Logistics teams for the Training Systems, to identify applicable document and data required per the customer’s Statement of Work (SOW), ensuring that latest revision/version are transferred to the customer’s ISS business system and are linked to the appropriate Configuration Items (CIs). Interactions will also include those with the programs supply base, as defined per supplier purchase agreements and as required to obtain necessary documentation and data. The successful candidate will interpret engineering data and document and covert these into post-delivery life cycle support work products such as an “As-Maintained” Bill-of-Material (BOM). The responsibilities include oversight of change management function for the Training System, including running of change boards, preparation and delivery of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) data, preparation and delivery of CDRL and assisting in the preparation of class I Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Additional responsibilities include the preparation and submission of DFARS complaint Basis-of Estimates (BOEs) and preparation if Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for CMO activities, as well as developing and maintaining CM plans, program specific business processes/procedures and program directions / instructions. The successfully candidate will ensure that CM activities are performed in accordance with the customer’s SOW as well as the ISS CMP and ISS Standard Operation procedures (SOPs).
Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Desired skills Experience in hardware configuration management, including creation, control and revision of Bill of Material structure and working with model and serial number data. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Requires sound PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. The ability to accommodate changing priorities on a daily basis is a must. Strong communication skills required. General familiarity with aircraft and/or helicopter systems. Must be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment and clearly communicate requirements to design, manufacturing and management personnel.Additionally, demonstrate experience with the following:Applying Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) or other enterprise process improvement programsStrong ability in building customer relationship and capability to support fielded aircraft in a timely mannerMust have strong analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skillsUSG security clearanceBased in Stratford, CTPotential for up to 10% travel to Canada to support major CMO milestones
