The Talent and Casting Intern will receive invaluable insight into the operation of a casting office at a television network, working closely with executives and their assistants. An intern will be an active member of the office and a part of our team; as such, will partake not only in administrative duties but in creative opportunities that provide unparalleled preparation for an entry level position in the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities and experiences may include (but aren’t limited to): attending network tests/table reads/tapings for CBS shows, attending CBS drama/comedy/alternative casting sessions, observing conference calls regarding the casting of CBS projects, attending agency and management meetings, observing auditions/rehearsals of the annual CBS Diversity Showcase, tracking and inputting diversity data of all CBS auditions for annual diversity report, greeting guests that meet with casting executives (actors, producers, executives, etc.), assisting with phone coverage and general office duties.
MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM 9AM - 6PM EITHER M/W/F or T/TH.

Intern candidates must be reliable, and should have excellent written and oral communication skills, a professional phone manner, a strong proficiency in Word and internet research, the ability to adapt to a fast paced and quickly changing environment and a passionate interest in the entertainment industry and in casting.
