Quad/Graphics is seeking an Industrial Electrician for the Taunton, MA book printing facility. This position is responsible for the following:
Responsible for all electrical repairs, modification,preventive maintenance and installation pertaining to production machineryand plant facilities.
Applicant must be a highly motivated individual willingto work flexible shifts depending on workload in a team orientatedenvironment with minimal supervision.
Must possess good oral, reading and writing skills for effectivecommunication.
Individual should have a mechanical aptitude.
Consistently practice and enforce safe work andenvironmental practices including all OSHA, DEP, local Regulatory and QuadGraphics compliance's.
Must furnish their own basic set of tools and know howto properly operate and maintain tools to keep them in safe working orderat all times.
Physical endurance and mobility for prolonged standing,walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
Ability to work from ladders, lifts, or elevatedplatforms - indoors and outdoors - and be able to work in confined spacesif required.
Overtime required when needed for vacations/absencesand peak production times.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working with industrial machinery, motors, transformers, control systems and power distribution as well as preferably proficiencies in troubleshooting/repairs of PLC's and AC/DC Drives.
Candidates must be available to work 12-hour rotating DAY shift, including weekends and holidays as required.
Must have at least three years of Electrician experience. Licensing a plus!
