Engineer, Systems Support
Provide day-to-day support activities for Corporate IT services. This includes, but is not exclusive to such services as Telepresence, videoconferencing, webcasting, corporate voice, wireless handheld services, messaging services and desktop personal computing. Also support or lead minor departmental projects. Manage to financial and resource estimates.
Perform project or maintenance tasks with minimal guidance of management or upper level engineers.
Server hardware and software problem resolution services.
Simple project management and project task fulfillment activities.
Financial management and cost control support services.
Provide asset control and tracking services.
Requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of desktop computer technology, Windows Operating System, and problem resolution procedures is required.
Ability to follow documented processes and procedures with minimal supervision.
An understanding of project management principles is preferred.
Blackberry device knowledge or certifications will provide additional consideration.
Polycom and Telepresence Video Conferencing operating experience is desired.
Project management experience will provide additional consideration.
Any help desk or customer contact skills will also provide additional consideration.
May require rotational 24x7 on-call support
Possible shift work.
