We are looking for an enthusiastic and results driven individual to join our Manufacturing Technology team as Manager Process Modeling & Statistical Analysis . The Modeling and Process Control Strategy platform (MPCS) provides support to manufacturing processes and analytical processes for data management, statistical analysis, significant investigations and scale-up / DoE design. The key functions of this role are to provide expertise in statistical process control, advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, process modeling, and data visualization. The person in the role is expected to support the vaccine manufacturing processes and develop know how and understanding of the relevant vaccine manufacturing processes. The role is also expected to lead the development and implementation of the site’s Process Control Strategy to ensure compliance and efficiency via modeling tools and data visualization and analysis techniques. Finally the position will also implement and deploy relevant six sigma and root cause analysis methodologies to support the sites’ major manufacturing investigations.
Process Modeling and Statistical Analysis
Lead the development and deployment of statistical analysis methodologies to support process monitoring and investigation.
Provide MPCS support to manufacturing in terms of statistical process control (SPC), process modeling and statistical analysis.
Identify patterns and trends by using rigorous statistical techniques on large data sets
Develop and manage web-based SPC portal to provide greater access and visibility to process trending, Out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) situations, real-time monitoring and alert notification tools.
Support root-cause analysis and investigations that focus on continuous process improvement, OOT/OOS and deviations in product quality (final bulk) through SPC, multivariate SPC, genealogy analysis, statistical analysis, machine learning, DoE and other methodologies.
Creativity/Conceptual ability- Good communication skills
Leadership / Experience in multi-functions large projects lead and in understanding customer's voice and quality requirements is a must
Advanced degree (PhD in Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering) with more than 6 years of experience in biological manufacturing/processes is preferred
Strong Skills in applied advanced statistics/ mathematics
Vaccines & Biotech Business understanding/knowledge
Experience using process modeling software (eg. MATLAB, R, Python, SIMPCA-P, SAS/JMP)
Good communication skills
Leadership of direct or indirect reports
Experience in multi-functions large projects lead and in understanding customer's voice and quality requirements is a must
