- Drive strategic program objectives by leading/overseeing multiple project activities and managing project timeline, from award of new business to product launch at customer.
Manage new programs to meet specified financial, quality, timing and operational requirements within APQP framework.
Primary contact with the customer on program, process and technical issues.
Ability to walk through the design and converse with the Customer.
Manage and direct resources to execute the program plan to meet company and customer requirements. Includes managing product launch at the manufacturing location, as well as at the customer.
Communicate with the plants and conduct meetings to ensure plant is prepared for the new program.
Adhere to company processes and procedures as established.
Prepare quotes and engineering estimates as required.
Primary contact between the plant and the customer.
Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

BS degree, preferably Engineering degree or at least 10 years’ experience in automotive industry, specifically with injection molded products
At least 5 years Program Management experience within in the automotive industry.
At least 5 years’ experience in program management including project integration, scope management, time management, cost & profitability, risk management, quality, communication management.
At least 5 years’ experience in understanding financials in order to manage project financials through the development and implementation of the project.
Proven ability to manage effective program launches.
Experience with managing teams across multiple departments, through indirect influence
Proficient in creating & managing program launch timelines to coordinate, track, and drive all project activities, within an APQP framework.
Knowledge of plastics for injection molding, its process, along with secondary operations
Willing to travel; primarily domestic and occasionally world-wide. Travel will include overnight stays.
