Position at ITW Global Tire Repair
This is a program and project management position that requires an experienced and motivated individual. The candidate will have management and oversight of all cross functional technical projects. Will ensure deliverables are met within schedule, budget, and quality goals. This includes but is not limited to: regular status reporting to management, ensuring timely execution of projects in accordance with customer deadlines, and management of direct reports.
Process knowledge of Project/Program management systems at OEM’s
Execute new project launches from concept to mass production.
Compile Program Management documentation for OEM customers. (Must comply with ISO/TS requirements).
Prepare PPAP documents and follow through to customer approval.
Develop TRK and packaging specifications with input from customer requirements.
Create technical PowerPoint presentations and present to customers. Support key account manager as technical resource to obtain new business opportunities. Help sales group show the benefits of ITW products or new product proposals.
Resolve development issues related to new product design by employing root cause analysis and analytical problem solving techniques.
Develop close working relationships with key customers. Work jointly with Sales group to solve problems and support projects.
Expert in the Program Management processes of Honda NA, Ford, GM and Chrysler.
Oversee preparation of part samples and support customer pre-trial production events.
Collaborate with production factory for manufacturing development.
Create drawings on customer specific templates and manage drawing process to get files loaded into customer specific database.
Understand Quality Control processes and work with Quality team to resolve QC issues as needed.
Participate in APQP process and lead FMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow team meetings.
Visit local customer factories to address QC issues including management of suspect parts.
Understand available competitor market technologies.
Propose design solutions to reduce cost & improve product performance
Travel to Europe, China, or Japan as needed and to support customers and help in manufacturing development.
Be available to participate in Global conference calls.
(Preferred) CAD experience - Catia v5, Solidworks or other CAD software system.
Other duties as assigned.
Learn, understand, and implement the ITW Toolbox.
Actively participate in meetings and collaborative sessions (particularly with customers). Needs to be able to demonstrate expertise and capabilities of ITW team in front of customers.
Able to self-direct and assess what needs to be done next to meet customer timelines, project, and documentation needs. Accomplishes what needs to be done without being asked. Incorporates management input to keep focus on priority projects and stays on task.
Delivers results: Ensures projects are completed on time in full regardless of business challenges or competing priorities.

Work and Educational Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience Required: 2 – 5 years Bachelors' Degree in Engineering Automotive and other technical field and with OEM program management system preferred.
Travel: Up to 30%
