Health Care Logistics Distribution Associate Part Time in Urbancrest, Ohio


Monday - Friday start time 3 or 4 pm - close (usually 8:30 pm however could be later)

Job Summary: Order fulfillment duties, including the following and other duties, as assigned:


  • Repackaging or labeling products into selling units

  • Inspect product and verify consistency or changes in appearance, size, color, etc.

  • Follow written directions consistently and without deviation from product spec sheet


  • Follow RF infrared scanner directions to select correct product orders

  • Verify packaging, quality, product, quantity, and lot number

  • Deliver picking cart in an organized manner to a packing line


  • Select and build most efficient shipping container

  • Verify product, packing, quantity, quality and lot numbers (if required)

  • Use logistics computer system to print labels and correctly ship product

  • Pack filler materials and apply correct box identification and labels

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Transportation to the Urbancrest Industrial Drive location; it is not on the bus line

  • Willing to work overtime to accommodate business needs

  • Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions

  • Current basic math and computer skills

  • Self-motivated and team oriented; works harmoniously and effectively with others.

  • Detail oriented with strong follow-through; able to read and type numbers accurately.

Physical Demands:

  • The ability to stand for a long period of time; occasionally alternating between sitting and standing; reaching with both arms; frequently using near vision; operate packaging machine and other tools.

  • Frequent bending and stooping

  • Frequent lifting/ carrying 21 – 50 lbs. while occasionally lifting 11-20 lbs


  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

  • Must be able to operate a computer

  • Must be able to understand and use RF Scanners

  • Must be able to learn, retain and apply information about HCL products

  • Must be able to operate Speedy Packer void fill system

  • Must be willing to become certified to operate sit down and stand up forklifts

  • Must be detail orientated to assist in maintaining a 95% Picking and/or Packing accuracy (cumulative)

  • Must operate according to OSHA standards for safety

  • Must operate according to established FDA standards for distributing medical products/devices (i.e. lot numbers)

  • Must comply with warehouse guidelines and company policy

  • Self motivated to achieve team and company goals

  • Possess good Math skills

  • Ability to read and follow directions
