POSITION: Project Management Office, Project and Production Coordinator (temporary 12 month contract)
LOCATION: Mississauga Branch 15
SCHEDULE: Day Shift
REPORTING TO: Dan Pearce, Production Manager
FUNCTION: Manage projects ensuring that once transferred from the sales group, all projects meet delivery requirements and projected profitability.
Receive projects from the Project & Technical Support Manager, reviewing production needs.
Follow up with factory ensuring on time deliveries of generators.
Manage purchasing and inventory of non-stock items.
Process inventory control work orders.
Manage receiving, tagging and completing packing slips for generators and auxiliary equipment.
Mitigate all shipping issues with factory and suppliers.
Execute production time lines on a daily basis; conduct process reviews.
Review open invoices and close out work orders for shipment and start-up work.
Assist with scheduling and testing of units.
ISO write ups for each project & completion.
Answer customer/engineers queries on shipping and test schedule.
Execute the balance of WIP in BMS on a regular basis.
Update production cost sheet.
Manage warranty registration.
Provide all updates in MS Project.
Other duties as required.
Electrical/electronic diploma/Degree an asset.
Knowledge of the industry.
Project management skills; attention to detail.
Good computer aptitude; experience with Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-starter, demonstrated energy and enthusiasm.
Calm, ability to multi-task
Good basic technical knowledge
Flexibility in hours
