We search for an entry-level public relations professional to provide a variety of administrative and communications-related responsibilities to a client account team(s). Enthusiastic, tireless, passionate and driven people please apply today! Responsibilities include:
Monitoring and daily reporting of traditional and social media.
Developing and maintaining media lists, and participating in internal business team meetings.
Writing and distributing pitch letters, news releases, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, prepared remarks and standby statements.
Developing relationships with external audiences (media, third party constituencies, vendors) to provide the best service possible to client.
Preparing monthly activity reports, and maintaining calendars and travel itineraries.
Burson-Marsteller's Corporate and Financial Communications Practice offers strategic counsel and execution that is aligned with our client’s business objectives. We deliver expert guidance and implementation support on critical communications issues. Whether the goal is to build awareness and buy-in around a new corporate vision, guide a CEO through the first 100 days of leadership, or design a strategy to reach local constituencies and national influencers, Burson-Marsteller's Corporate Practice develops solutions that sustain corporate value and drive business results.
Minimum of 3 months of previous public relations work experience.
Proficiency in office computer programs to include MS Office Suite.
Strong proofreading and editing skills.
Professional and pleasant interpersonal communications skills.
Ability to work on a team and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to handle high priority and pressure situations.
