Georgetown Memorial Hospital Manager, Talent Acquisition - Human Resources in United States


Responsible for the development and management of the talent acquisition strategy to meet current and future workforce needs of the organization including workforce planning and forecasting, attracting, sourcing, screening, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develops talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans

  • Determines current staffing requirements and forecasts future needs

  • Leads and amplifies employment branding initiatives

  • Manages recruitment activities associated with filling open positions

  • Ensures a positive candidate experience

  • Leverages social recruiting including social media profiles, blogs, and other activities

  • Manages talent communities and builds passive candidate pools

  • Maintains relationships with qualified candidates not selected

  • Monitors and utilizes key metrics and analytics to measure impact, report results and drive continuous improvement

  • Organizes and attends career fairs and other events to build candidate pool

  • Supervises recruitment team member(s)


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field

  • Demonstrated leadership experience of a progressive talent acquisition function, preferably in a healthcare environment

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding

  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards

  • Working knowledge of Recruitment Management Systems and databases

  • Strong strategic thinking skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Well-organized
