Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Director of Venues, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers.
  • Coordinates all groups with less than 25 attendees, to include but not limited to; VIP, Law Firm, Social and Entertainment group needs prior to and during their stay while in line with the SOP’s in each department.
  • Booking and servicing both corporate events in the board room and social events in the luxury suites.
  • Work closely with other departments to communicate group details; banquet event orders, resumes and rooming lists to ensure guests depart satisfied.
  • Sell amenities, activities and gifts to groups utilizing In-Room Dining, FB Outlets and the Hotel Spa.
  • Upsell, evaluate, and confirm business to exceed food and beverage scheduled quota.
  • Ensure that payment, deposits/cancellation fees where applicable are addressed with Accounting.
  • Conduct site inspections with prospective and existing clients, along with site inspections of various competitors to stay familiar with our competition and know how to sell against them.
  • Conduct and/or attend weekly/monthly departmental Sales and Operations communication meetings, and/or daily department meeting to review contracts and banquet event orders, as required.
  • To follow all safety policies

  • Other duties as assigned

Employee Status


  • Previous leadership experience within marketing required

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and other relevant computer applications required

  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

  • Highly responsible & reliable

  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

  • Previous leadership experience within marketing required
