The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care for a designated group of patients. The RN coordinates, directs and actively participates as an effective member of the interdisciplinary health care team, contributing to the efficient operation of the unit and promoting positive patient outcomes.


Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania Current CPR (BLS) Valid PA Driver’s License Functional Skills on PC and Related Software (Microsoft Office) Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Strong leadership ability, independent thinking and decision-making ability; analytical problem solving skills, sound judgment; excellent oral and written communication skills, must be able to function in a team environment. Sound judgment, problem solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to follow directions from other team members; works independently assigned duties. Independent thinking and decision-making ability Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments Ability to make sound nursing decisions in an autonomous environment, seeking supportive resources as needed.

Preferred - All RNs - One year experience in medical/surgical nursing or other healthcare related field; IV and phlebotomy training; certification in an applicable area; Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. For Hospice - Prior Hospice and/or oncology experience; Hospice and Palliative Care Certification.
