Electronic Files Specialist
Contract Electronic Files Specialist will be expected to perform the following type of tasks for the Electronic Files Processing Center:
Provides hands-on file manipulation, loading, and conversion services.
Creates and modifies files for upload into COTS products and performs individual file conversion in support of electronic file processing.
Will be required to develop, evaluate and modify methodologies and procedures for manipulating files for use typically with COTS products and litigation support applications.
Must be able to ensure the accuracy of data loading, manipulation, and conversion by performing and documenting quality and accuracy checks.
Responsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides senior Contractor IT staff with notice of deficiencies.
Must have basic understanding of database structure and design.
Knowledge of and experience with litigation software, database maintenance, database structure, and data loading in Summation/Relativity databases, LAW 5.0 and LAW Pre-Discovery in regard to imaging and OCR as well as electronic document processing through the export of Summation/Relativity load files all extremely helpful.
Additional qualifications to meet the requirements for this position include:
At least one year of experience with the applications actually being supported or equivalent knowledge of database applications in general.
Knowledge of DOS and/or other file manipulation applications.
Experience in automated litigation support.
Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications.
Technical certification valued.
Ability to work some weekends, late shift schedule (to 10pm) and overtime when necessary.
Must be able to meet the requirements to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
