PAE is looking for a full-time entry level Medical Logistician to work on our FBI contract in Washington, DC at the FBI Headquarters. This position requires a Top Secret Security Clearance and will report to the PAE Program Manager as well as the FBI Medical Director and PAE Senior Nurse. You must currently have or be able to pass a Top Secret Security clearance before you can start working. The process to obtain a Top Secret clearance could take as long as 6 to 12 months. MUST have Logistician experience and A-EMT/EMT-P certification in order to be considered for the position!!
- In conjunction with FBI personnel, develop, modify, implement and monitor internal protocols to effectively build and ship complex medical equipment and supplies to deployed FBI agents worldwide. - Maintain supply inventory database for tracking initial order and re-order points (levels), usage and distribution of medical supplies and equipment for the FBI Health Unit and Deployment Medicine Program. - In conjunction with the FBI personnel establishes and routinely updates all protocols relating to all medical supply and equipment stocking and deployment distribution levels. - Make visits as needed to FBI off-site storage facilities in the Washington Metropolitan Area to inventory, order, maintain and collect medical supplies and equipment. - Utilize organizational and database computer skills to conduct daily tasks. - Provide written and oral communication skills to build and maintain multiple inter- and intra-organizational relationships to enhance the medical logistics supply and equipment program. - Advise the FBI Medical Director on all matters related to improving the operational effectiveness and success of the Medical Logistics program.
- Minimum of A-EMT certification, EMT-P preferred. - BLS/ACLS certification with knowledge of advanced airways and ACLS protocols. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment and/or supplies routinely. - Minimum of 2 years medical logistics experience. - Must be able to pass a Top Secret Security Clearance The Medical Logistician should possess: - Military Operations experience deployment medicine or combat trauma training preferred. - Survival training and/or wilderness medical training. - Organizational, oral and written communication skills. - Be extremely detail oriented. - Computer skills, especially MS-Office, Access Database, MS SharePoint.
