Ministry Medical Group Rib Mountain (formerly Ministry Medical Group) is looking for a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team part-time!

At the Rib Mountain Clinic, you will join a growing Family Practice team.

To better serve our patients, the Rib Mountain clinic offers extended hours and weekend appointments for more convenient scheduling for our patients. We are open from 7am to 7pm Monday through Thursday and Friday from 7AM to 5PM. We are also open on Saturday from 8am to 4pm. You will be expected to be flexible with scheduling and willing to work at least one-two days until 7pm and at least one Saturday approximately every 6 th to 8 th week.

As a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in this clinic, you will:

Assist the clinician and perform specific procedures when requested. Monitor the patient during procedures and report observations. Recognize the need to seek the assistance of a clinician or registered nurse. Check-in patients; obtain medical history, record patient information, including vital signs, measurements, purpose for the visit, current list of medications, allergies, and other department specific criteria. Prepare patients for examination. Demonstrate knowledge of the aseptic technique. Provide emergency care to patients including Basic Life Support per protocol, when necessary. Perform venipuncture for laboratory blood draws. Administer limited medications, including injections, complying with policies and procedures. Assist with data collection via telephone. Refer patients who require further teaching interventions to a clinician and/or registered nurse. Provide clerical and organizational support to facilitate optimal care. Organize and maintain equipment and supplies. Provide basic laboratory analysis if specimens.

Qualifications: Medical Assistant Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program and the completion of certification / registration required. Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required, preferably through one of the following: • American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) • American Medical Technologists (RMA) Licensed Practical Nurse:

Graduate of accredited school of nursing required. One year professional nursing experience is preferred. Valid Wisconsin LPN license is required. CPR certification or to achieve certification within first year is required. Job: Medical Assistants
