Human Resource Technology (HRT) - Human Resource Technology (HRT) is the central steward for the design, build, and asset management for the firm's Human Capital technology across all lines of business and global regions. JP Morgan is competitive across the financial services industry in our workforce strategy capabilities. In partnership with our HR business partners and service providers we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients - JP Morgan employees. HRT provides technology support for staffing and on-boarding, employee records, payroll, talent management, compensation, benefits, learning, employee and manager service, workforce planning and analytics, and back office call center operations.

This role is responsible for the integration points between many of the core HR application suites. The target ETL platform is Mule, but a general awareness of technical options is desired.

  • BS in Computer Science,/or/equivalent knowledge/experience

  • 5 years experience in application development using Java

  • Experience with source control, e.g. Git, Subversion

  • Knowledge of common project lifecycles and development methodologies.

  • Experience with web services using both REST and SOAP

  • Knowledge of messaging systems include Qpid, ActiveMQ and MQ

  • Comfortable writing SQL and performing basic query tuning in Oracle.
