Bayer Manager, Display & Special Pack Demand Process in Whippany, NJ, New Jersey
Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role, Manager, Display & Special Pack Demand Process are: • Lead the process for arriving at high quality forecast for Displays and Special Packs (repacks and any other type of in/on/etc. packs); • Engage with Customer Activation / Customer Demand Planning (CDP)/ Customer Supply Chain (CSC) to reach a monthly consensus and provide forecast information for decision making; • Implement, track, report and escalate appropriate forecast snapshots for Displays & Special Packs. Report on forecast accuracy and bias, and facilitate Ship-To-Trade (STT) adherence reporting; • Lead the development of best practices for accurate Display & Special Pack forecasting; • Lead the development of and implementation of a robust Roll /Drop / Reallocation process; • Collaborate cross-functionally with Conversion Ops and Supply Managers to align on forecast load timing, ensuring transparency of demand, to ensure supply availability of all Finished Good (FG) items on the Bill of Materials (BOMs); • Exercise influence to ensure historical actual sales data is being used by teams to challenge the forecasts of Displays and Special Packs to help make sure they are high quality; • Partner with other demand planners to ensure a proper alignment between forecasts for open stocks and Displays and Special Packs; • Align, document and communicate lead time requirements for Display & Special Pack items.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position: • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in business management or supply chain preferred; • Minimum of 7 years of business experience; roles in Sales, Customer Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred; • Sound experience in operating in complex stakeholder settings and excellent communication and influencing skills to successfully push the objectives at this position; • Good technical understanding to be able to act as a subject matter expert; • Strong strategic and leadership abilities in order to form and shape the new function; • Robust analytical skills, comfortable with synthesis of disparate data sources, and experienced in distilling actionable insights.
