Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role, as PRO Bus Partner Oncology, are to: Business Partnering:
•Establishes effective, trustful, personal relationships with key Oncology stakeholders to set joint targets, align strategic initiatives (also across categories) and be the contact point for all procurement related topics for the stakeholder community. Represents the entire Procurement organisation in the dialogue with Oncology TA; •Demonstrates systemic understanding of business requirements. •Develops detailed understanding of annual & 3-5 year business plan by indication /brand ( Xofigo, Stivarga, Nexavar) and understands and challenges resulting business requirements; •Supports StraCo and Annual Budget setting in alignment with defined business timings; ensures FC1, FC2, FC3 reviews to enable business and procurement delivery/forecast alignment . Maintains an EBIT savings pipeline to be used to support budget delivery; •Plans and tracks strategic initiatives (across categories) with Oncology that supports business growth and creates business value for the respective business stakeholder community; •The job holder acts as a business advisor on commercial topics and proactively brings supply market knowledge to business decisions by collating market data and executive reports and facilitating knowledge sharing across other TA’s; •Leads/Facilitates agency selection process for key agencies to support TA; •Leads Agency Performance Management activity for lead agencies across Oncology franchise /TA across sub-categories (principally, Creative, Digital, MedComs , Commercial Insights , Conference & Symposia, PR, Print); •Applies state-of-the-art Supplier/Agency Management processes to supply base within area of responsibility and creates appropriate relationships as required; •Ensures consistent understanding of supplier/ agency role and performance, cost structures and cost drivers; •Develops strategies that leverage the supplier/agency innovation potential and resources e.g joint innovation initiatives, continuous improvement and process optimization; •Sets and monitor appropriate KPI’s; •Facilitates Senior Executive relationship reviews between Bayer and Agency; •The jobholder also leads, ensures and monitors the reduction of "Maverick" spend within the stakeholder community.

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of years of experience and education. MBA preferred; •12 years business experience preferably in Marketing or Procurement, preferably in large, complex, multi-national organizations; •Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to deliver results in complex and potentially ambiguous environments; •Financial acumen; ability to translate strategic marketing objectives into realistic procurement activity; •High proficiency in English (oral & written).
