RETAIL DISTRICT MANAGER
Start with your own business unit consisting of 10-15 individual store managers and teams, then be the driving force behind increased sales, profits that meet or exceed business plan, and quality customer service. Expect to travel frequently between your stores, too, as you coordinate operational activities and manage expenses and control shrink.
Qualified candidates must be highly organized, dynamic leaders with:
A passion for developing people and building sales
Minimum of 2+ years' successful experience managing $40M+ in multi-unit sales in retail hard lines; background must include P&L, scheduling, payroll management, sales incentives, product merchandising, staff hiring, mentoring and goal setting
Superior multitasking, time management and communication skills
Availability for relocation within your region
BA/BS degree is a strong asset

Education and Experience:
High school education required; minimum 5 years in retail store experience; retail store management experience required; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management to achieve company goals.
Demonstrate strong, problem solving, communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to give presentations to large groups.
Ability to enforce policies and procedures. Ability to work independently, positively handle conflict, and work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to write policies, procedures, and executive summaries.
Display detail-oriented approach to work.
Ability and proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products.
Ability to manipulate data to drive and expedite project analyses and completion.
Ability to work overtime and travel occasionally.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Individuals in this position will encounter ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in any typical office environment. Individuals may need to sit at a desk or table for long periods of time; to speak clearly and carefully listen to customers; to reach over shoulder heights; crouch or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; and lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday.
