Purpose of Position:
The Sales Operations Director will support the International Sales VP / EMEA MD. This role will lead the sales transformation and sales operations efforts for the EMEA region to include reporting, dashboards, CRM, forecasting, customer alignment and compensation planning and review results. A heavy emphasis is placed on sales force enablement.
Design and drive sales enablement activities in order to exceed bookings goals
Work with the VP Sales to review, publish and educate the EMEA sales team and related functions on the end-to-end sales process and monitor adherence to the process.
Build strong relationships with and an engagement model with support partners to drive a fully integrated approach to executing the sales strategy
Work with sales and SE/Consulting management and other functional leaders (Marketing, OD, PXP, Bid, HR etc.) to collect, distill and document common productivity challenges and document these challenges and the agreed approaches to address these challenges. Publish improvement targets and metrics associated with these challenges and improvements.
Lead the development and deployment of a cohesive communications plan to set clear expectations across all priority programs and initiatives to the sales and SE teams. Examples include – timeline for commission plan design/issue. Sales learning and development initiatives in region etc.
Work with International Sales VP / EMEA MD and Regional Sales Director team to utilize industry and internal best practices, leverage tools such as SalesForce.com, and drive the execution of a sales strategy as aligned to the overall company objectives
Coordinate and aggregate EMEA and APAC forecast, results and ac-hoc reporting in weekly/monthly processes.
Manage team performing sales administration functions to offload administrative tasks from sales professionals to maximize their time in front of customers
Monitor, review and educate at all levels to ensure a fully compliant use of SalesForce.com so that sales leaders, marketing and FP&A teams can be fully effective in their activities that are defendant on its accuracy
Manage customer alignment in systems to ensure clarity of performance and accountability
Analysis of win/loss reports to focus on on-going sales development activities at all levels
Partners with the Sales Operations/Effectiveness teams in the US to ensure Global best practices are developed, communicated and implemented.
Contribute to on-going end-to-end process improvements in design, build, run and tracks client survey/RAG feedback on the same.
- Work with EMEA Marketing to document and map marketing activities to sales strategy by region, vertical, product etc. and ensures that marketing reports progress in a timely and accurate fashion.
Work with sales leaders, to develop and deliver sales targets, keeps accurate metrics on sales force activity and performance, incentive plans (issue, distribution, achievement to budget on commissions, and regular sales reports as required by sales leaders and MD EMEA / International Sales VP).
Provide support in the sales budgeting process and target setting from VP down through sales professional levels
Interpret data and provide themes to ensure the sales strategy is enabled in weekly, monthly and annual metrics review cycles
Degree or equivalent experience preferred
sales, sales force effectiveness, or related experience required
Previous experience analyzing sales productivity and processes/or FP&A background
Excellent communication skills
Understanding / experience of IT Services Industry
