Dow Chemical SAP Developer in Auburn, Michigan
The Dow Digital Commerce team has an exciting and challenging position for a SAP solution. The Digital Commerce solution provides Dow customers a self-service capability to search and choose products, place orders, and perform common support activities. This role will is responsible for developing and supporting the integrated solutions between our Digital Commerce solution and SAP ECC. Key integrations include working with other SAP Developers using Process Integrator (PI) to integrate the web solution with backend SAP ECC primarily with the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Advanced Planning and Optimization(APO) as well as core Material Management (SAP MM) and Sales and Distribution (SAP SD) modules. The applicant should have software development and implementation experience over the last two to four years. While varied technical backgrounds are sought, this isn’t a purely technical role. This role will deliver highly integrated cross business process and technology solutions.
We are posting for 3 positions: 2 Hybris developers and 1 SAP developer
Bachelor’s degree required. Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems degree strongly preferred.
Minimum 2 to 4 years IT experience required.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Knowledge in ABAP development within SAP ECC, SAP eCommerce
Knowledge of SAP Process Integrator, SAP integration solutions, Customer facing business processes (Market/Sell, Order to Cash, Planning)
Knowledge in application and/or SAP master and dependent data
Knowledge and experience in Agile software development methodologies and DevOps work processes
Knowledge of development lifecycle and operational tools
Awareness of general application development life-cycle (Requirements, Design, Build, Test, and Implement)
Participating in a system implementation project from start-up to implementation
Participated in cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills - Creative and comfortable with various communication media
Engaging with technical and non-technical audience
Entrepreneurial mindset - Resilient and energized by frequent change
Drive/Initiative with Strong bias-to action
Strong analytical, modeling and problem solving skills; Root Cause Investigation and solution mindset
Ability to successfully work with diverse set of teams, whenever needed, without compromising existing service levels and customer satisfaction rate
Awareness of Hybris and/or Adobe Enterprise Manager (AEM) or other digital marketplace enablers is a plus
