Systems Engineer – Oklahoma City; Kansas City (Remote)

Dell, Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Global Compute and Networking organization. The position is Remote and the ideal candidate will be based in Oklahoma City or Kansas City.

The Systems Engineer have developed people and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work quickly and effectively in a dynamic environment. The position requires an individual who understands server, storage, networking and Data Center operations and technologies. Good technology and effective communication skills are needed to interface with customers, partners, sales management, direct account teams and fellow employees.

Role Responsibilities

  • Customer RFP support (design, creation, planning, etc.)

  • Introduction and presentation of integrated solutions and advanced technologies

  • Assist IT departments with large deployments and migrations

  • Product Life-cycle transition and management

  • Change Management best practices (Bios, hardware, etc.), roadmaps and emerging technology updates

  • Escalation management, discovery and management of systemic issues

  • Informal knowledge transfer, discovery of new sales opportunities


  • 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years’ experience with a Master’s degree

  • Self-motivated and able to be self-directed with minimal supervision

  • Customer sales or technical solution experience required

  • Excellent communication skill

  • Identify and initiate new sales opportunities
