What You'll Do
As the Sales Specialist Collaboration Applications and Platforms, you lead our sales efforts across local and global accounts with Headquarters in Switzerland. The role focuses on driving use cases for Cisco’s Collaboration Product Portfolio and using Cisco Services.
You will use your engagement experience and subject matter expertise to build Cisco's relevance in delivering Collaboration Experiences - solution development, partner ecosystem, marketing, drive Go To Market, etc. You will lead, own and orchestrate Cisco and Partner resources to identify & qualify opportunities, close engagements to achieve product and services bookings targets
You will establish and maintain customer relationships at the executive / business decision maker level.
You will develop & present compelling business cases to customers, maintain expert-level knowledge of all elements of the business case, including the drivers of cost, benefit and risk.
You will partner closely with Engineers/Architects to align the technology architecture to the customer's desired business outcome and ensure customer success by orchestrating resources to assist the customer in realizing the full value of their technology investment.
Develop & lead business value based opportunities within targeted accounts - often over 12-24-month sales cycles.
Develop Business Plans, share and own detailed execution plans and progress with field leadership and account teams.
Enhance Cisco's solution portfolio over time, focused around key customer requirements and aligned with Cisco products and solutions.
Provide regular reporting of account engagement progress on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Engage, advise and mentor sales teams on Customer Experience imperatives and business value based consultative selling approaches
Understand competitor offerings and provide input to the sales team on product positioning and differentiation.
You are responsible for lead management and lead generation (hunting).

One Winning Team Engagement - Effectively facilitating joint initiatives with cross-functional teams (Services, Customer Value Acceleration team, Capital, Partners, etc.) and strategically engaging cross-functional resources to achieve your/our goals and hit the numbers.
Who You Are
You have a consultative solutions/business-value problem solving approach to engagements with C-Level and executive leaders. The financial acumen necessary to develop and present a comprehensive business case. Strong leadership skills, diverse backgrounds within Cisco and its Partners and deliver results.
You have the ability to work across multiple dimensions of building a Team, Business, Practice.
You have sales and/or sales management experience for a technology provider, integrator or enterprise IT delivery organization.
You have strong communication and listening skills, a thorough approach to complex problem solving, managing to metrics.
You have strong relationship management skills with a genuine understanding of how to identify build and lead confirmed relationships with multiple key decisions makers within large accounts
You are a subject matter expertise on how Collaboration platforms can assist our customers in transforming the way they drive productivity across their business processes.
Strong working knowledge of SaaS and Cloud solution offerings
Our minimum requirements for this role:
3+ years IT/Collaboration/Sales experience and a proven, consistent track record in leading and winning major Sales opportunities, preferable Collaboration solution segment.
Demonstrated success in launching & executing of Sales Programs with Channel partners
Understand, articulate and position Cisco's Collaboration vision both internally and externally
Familiarity with key competitors such as Avaya, Polycom and Microsoft is highly desired
Pervasive video selling skills is a plus
You MUST have excellent German/English written and verbal communications skills as well as good listening and strong presentation skills
