The Town of Warrenton is seeking applicants for employment as a Finance Officer. Applicants should possess a thorough knowledge of governmental accounting including budget, general ledger and grant administration. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, accounting, economics, business administration or related field will be considered. Extensive experience in local government administration is preferred. The successful candidate will report to the Town Administrator and oversee the general finances for the Town.
